Concerned Christy wants to know!

How you feel about teens in adult prisons!

  1. I feel that any teenager (through the age of 16) that is found guilty of an adult crime should spent the time until they are 17 in a juvenile facility. Even at 17 they are still children, but that is the age when they are charged as an adult for any crime. I would want to hope that the goal would be to rehabilitate. When you put an impressionable teenager in with adult criminals, they are going to learn more negative things (lying, manipulating, "criminal" behaviors).

  2. Unfortunately, in today's society many of our children our committing adult crimes. This does not mean that they should be put in a system with adults that what they are going to learn is far worse than the punishment. I truly believe in rehabiltation and this will not happen in adult prison where they will become part of the revloving door.
